Our First Annual Food Drive at Portnoy & Tu Family Dentistry
Our first annual food drive will begin on Tuesday November 1st and will run through Friday November 18th. Please feel free to bring non-perishable food items and help make a difference in our community.
For every 5 items you bring in, your name will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Meijer Gift Card. We will draw the winner on Monday November 21st.

Toys for Tots
December 1-15, 2016
We will be collecting toys for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program from December 1-15. The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Wondering what you're going to do with all that Halloween candy?
The office of Portnoy and Tu is requesting your help this Halloween. If you have excess candies that you do not want around your house, please bring them in to our office. We will be partnering with Operation Gratitude, a California based non-profit organization that sends care packages to our troops year round.
Back-to-School charity drive for Haven House.
We thank you for helping us with our Back-to-School charity drive for Haven House. Thank you for all the school supplies and monetary donations. Without your generosity and support, we would not have been able to provide school supplies to our local children. Again, thank you very much for your support and kindness.

Give Kids A Smile Day 2015
Drs. Gianh Portnoy & Bachtrac Tu provided FREE check up, x-rays, cleaning, and Fluoride varnish, and also sealant (if necessary) treatment to qualifying children ages 2-12, who do not have any dental insurances.

This event is part of the American Dental Association's Give Kids A Smile Program. Last year, more than 50,000 dental team members nationwide participated in Give Kids A Smile.
| Additional Info: | For the past ten years, Dr. Portnoy and Dr. Tu have participated in providing free dental work for children during the National Children's Dental Access Day. Dr. Portnoy and Dr. Tu are committed to provide excellent dental care to Okemos and the surrounding communities. We provide comprehensive dental services including routine cleanings, restorative, cosmetic, root canal therapy, dentures, dental implant restoration, and oral surgery. |

Wondering what you're going to do with all that Halloween candy?
The office of Portnoy and Tu is requesting your help this Halloween. If you have excess candy that you do not want around your house, please bring it to our office. We will be partnering with Operation Gratitude, a California based non-profit organization that sends care packages to our troops year around. Our military personnel find the candy useful in making friends with the Afghan children and their families, who in turn inform them where the IED's (Improvised Explosive Devices) are located. The troops also enjoy eating the candy as they cannot get it in the Middle East.
We would like to thank you in advance for assisting us in supporting our troops. We are proud to be Americans and are especially proud of our troops peacekeeping efforts.

Dentists Help Kids Smile
Okemos dentists participate in Give Kids A Smile Day, providing free dental care.
Portnoy & Tu, DDS, Family Dentistry participated in the annual Give Kids A Smile event Friday, Feb. 1, in their Okemos office.
The Give Kids A Smile event provides a free dental examination, digital x-rays, cleaning and fluoride varnish and sealants to qualifying childreen. This event is part of the American Dental Association's Give Kids A Smile Program.
Earth Day
April 22 is Earth Day! Over one billion people in 192 countries are participating from London to Sao Paolo, Seoul to Babylon City, New Delhi to New York, Rome to Cairo; people everywhere are taking action in their communities and helping depict The Face of Climate Change.
